The Prophet Fairways are a breakthrough design combining many elements together to create the perfect fairway club. First, the head has a large footprint at address to inspire confidence. To increase the playability, the face was designed shallow for a "pancake-like" appearance to move the center of gravity both as low and rearward as possible. The stainless crown is replaced by a much lighter weight carbon graphite material. Not only does this make the club look elegant, but further allows a greater amount of weight to be shifted into the most strategic location within the clubhead. Lastly, even more weight is able to be repositioned in the head by utilizing a lighter, ultra-high strength maraging face material. With the weight positioned lower and rearward, not only is a higher launch angle produced, but the amount of distance robbing back spin is reduced. The specialty face material is not only used for weight savings, but more importantly for performance. The higher strength face material allows it to be manufactured thinner.
