Following the success of the North East Masters in 2009, ZFL is proud to continue it's sponsorship in 2010, with the number of tournaments now increased to 14 from 10 last year.

RULES & RANKING POINTS SYSTEM
1. The ZFL North East Masters is open to all players who are members of a Golf Club and hold an official handicap.
2. Each event will be run by the host club. The rules, prize fund, conditions of play and results for each event will be the responsibility of the host club.
3. The full names & clubs of the top 20 in each qualifying event should be emailed to both organisers of the ZFL North East Masters no later than the morning after the event. Those results & the up to date rankings will be notified to the media. They will also be displayed on the ZFL Golf & Newcastle Journal web site.
4. Points will be awarded to players according to the ZFL North East Masters points table as follows:

5. Points will be shared for ties with the exception of a tie for the winning score when the winner will receive maximum points and the other players in the tie will share the remaining points.
6. All events in the ZFL North East Masters will be announced each season before the first event & will be available at all times on the ZFL Golf web site.
7. The winner of the ZFL North East Masters will receive the Trophy (for 1 year) & the top 5 players will receive prizes to the value of £500 for 1st place, £400 for 2nd place, £300 for 3rd place, £200 for 4th place & £100 for 5th place.
8. The Presentation Evening will take place at the ZFL North East Masters winner's home club. The date will be arranged & announced as soon as the winner is known.
